For Three Years Straight.
The Shine the Light Study surveyed over 1,400 LGBTQIA+ workers across America and asked what they needed most at work. For three consecutive years, the number one answer was the same: salary negotiation training.
But every existing program was built for cisgender professionals. None addressed identity management at work. None talked about disclosure decisions, or bias after transitioning, or how to negotiate gender-affirming healthcare without outing yourself. 89% of LGBTQ+ workers who did receive training said it completely ignored the identity challenges they face.

A: Tier 1: Foundation is for all LGBTQIA+ professionals at any career stage. The Catalyst Track is designed for Trans, nonbinary, genderqueer, genderfluid, Two-Spirit, and gender-expansive professionals. Both courses are open to anyone that wants to participate.
Q: Do I need to take both courses?
A: If you are Trans or gender-expansive, we recommend both. Tier 1 gives you the complete salary negotiation system. The Catalyst Track adds identity-specific strategies. Together they provide 28 lessons and 8 career tools. Both course are open to everyone.
Q: Is my enrollment private?
A: Yes. Your enrollment is private and will never be shared with your employer or any third party. We take privacy seriously, especially for Catalyst Track learners.
Q: How long does it take?
A: Both courses are self-paced. Most learners complete Tier 1 in 4-6 hours and the Catalyst Track in 3-4 hours. You can go at your own speed.
